Why we need your email address
If you decide to join greatvenue, we need to have your email address. This means that we can be sure that everyone contributing to the site is not a spammer or a robot that will destroy or post misleading information. We also need to send you emails for things such as if you forget your password.

- For matters regarding your account we will communicate with you via email. We will send you an email when you sign up to confirm your email address and so that you have a record of your user information
- We will send you a password reset email if you forget your password
- You don’t have to tell us any additional personal information, but as you know we are keenly trying to improve access for all types of disabilities, so if do have a disability then it can really help us to know about some of the challenges you face. We NEVER share personal information or information about individual user’s disabilities to anyone
- Greatvenue may use cookies which will record information about how you use the Greatvenue site. Cookies are stored on your local hard drive. These are good for you (MMM Cookies) as they do things like remembering your password and user name so that you don’t have to enter these each time. You may adjust your Internet settings to not allow Greatvenue to create cookies, however you may not be able to experience all the functions that Greatvenue has.

- Photos that you upload to Greatvenue remain your property, by uploading a photo you give us licence to use the photo, royalty free anywhere in the world. This licence ends when you remove the photo from Greatvenue. Photos of a venue can help people with disabilities determine whether that venue will be suitable for them, therefore please take care to display photos which show good information about the venue s accessibility.
- You remain responsible for the content of the photos that you contribute. If the photo shows a person, you should seek permission from this person before uploading the photo. Photos which have content which is offensive will be removed from the website.
